My name is Steel!

Meet Steel! She is a loving 18 month female 55 lb boxer mix who is smart, kind, and loves to play with toys! She is a little timid at first, but once she gets to know you she'll be sleeping on the couch next to you in no time! She is very smart and knows how to sit, stay, down, off, and leave it. She is house broken and loves to hang outside! She is working on her walking without pulling and we have 3 extra training sessions available to the adopter at no additional charge!

While she loves people, Steel is not sure about other dogs. Some dogs make her nervous and upset, others she wants to play. On walks, she knows to "leave it" and continue on her way, but she must be in a home where there are no other pets as she does not get along with them. She has been around young kids and babies socially and has had no issue. Typically, she doesn't act interested and leaves them alone.

Her ideal home would have a fenced yard since that is what she is used to.
