Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Sparta! I am a curious pup that is still learning what it means to be living in a home. It took me a little while to trust my foster parents and know that they were here to help me. Now that I understand that all they want to do is shower me with love and show me that the world isn’t as scary as what I thought, I never want to leave their sides. I want to be their protector. I always want to be close by to see what is going on, I don’t want to miss a thing. I am still unsure and timid around new people I meet. I am trying really hard as they all seem very friendly, but I am still a little scared. If you are patient and give me time to warm up, I have an abundance of love to give. I love cuddling up next to my foster sister and foster parents anytime they are on the couch. I tend to get nervous when I am left alone; I am working on it and starting to learn that it is only going to be temporary. My foster parents are teaching me that it’s ok to relax, and that I no longer need to be worried about anything. I may be a little nervous to meet you on the surface, but inside I am so excited to find my forever human.

We are a registered charitable NO KILL Rescue, located in Regina, SK, Canada dedicated to helping dogs that have fallen on hard times (homeless, abandoned and in some cases, surrendered). With the help of dedicated volunteer foster families, our dogs live as part of the family while they are in foster care right up until they move in with their new family. We strive to help with the over-population of pets by making sure each and every puppy*, adolescent and adult dog is spayed/neutered. (*Note: sterilization of puppies is the owner's responsibility and proof of sterilization must be shown at 6 months of age.)
