Hi, I am Kenji! I am a very playful pup and a bit of a character! Even though I am smaller, I have a lot of spunk in me! I enjoy being with my people and other animals. I would love an active family that would keep me busy and play with me. My foster Momma thinks I would do great at agility training. I am such a good boy as I am already kennel trained, house trained, good with dogs and great with kids and cats. Because I am a herding breed mix, I can get a little grabby with hands when excited and when playing with other dogs. I would do best in a home with another playful dog or sporting dog. When I am not playing, I am a quiet boy and will often go lay in my kennel or chew on a bone. I had a rough start before coming to foster care. I did have mange and was very under weight. But after receiving the best care, my hair is growing back and I am gaining weight! I am learning that food is a regular thing now, so I am getting better with my manners and not gobbling everything up so fast.
So if you are looking for an active, fun loving companion, then maybe I am am your guy!
