Johnny Cash, like the man in Black who is big in stature and in heart, is who we named this Black Mouth Cur mix puppy. He is our big/little guy who is mild mannered, charismatic, and has a beautiful personality that is as great as his looks. Although this litter of 4 pups were found roaming on a back road in rural Tennessee, these pups are far from wanders and have quickly settled into knowing their foster home boundaries and requirements to be foster pups! They never leave your side and is exactly what Johnny Cash does! Sticks to you like glue. These pups are living on a small mini farm and they have experienced small children, cats, other dogs, cows, and birds (guineas and chickens) with only an initial curiosity that has demonstrated an overall passive attitude about other animals and kids! Johnny Cash is about 4 months old and 20 pounds and he is going to be a 55-60 pounds adult boy who can be a farm dog…a city slicker and a lover all rolled in to one. Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website.
