My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blanca is a 5-month-old Great Dane mix with a heart as big as her paws. Rescued from a high-kill shelter on the day she was set to be euthanized, Blanca is now in foster care, settling into her new environment. She is a friendly, loving puppy who gets along well with other dogs. Blanca enjoys snuggling up with her humans and giving gentle puppy kisses.

Blanca is looking for a forever home where she will receive lots of love and attention. A family that enjoys long walks and playtime in the yard would be perfect for her. She would also love to have a canine sibling to keep her company and show her the ropes.

Blanca is a healthy girl who is up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She is currently working on her basic training in her foster home. If you are interested in adopting Blanca, please fill out an adoption application on the Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue website. Once your application is approved, you can arrange a meet-and-greet with Blanca. She can't wait to meet you and become a part of your family!

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
