Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Peanut!!
Peanut is a beautiful 4 year old shepherd mix and weighs 63 pounds. This beautiful girl found herself and her 2 six month old puppies at a high kill shelter on the euthanasia list. The day all 3 were set to be euthanized her 2 puppies were saved but she was not. Minutes away from being killed she began to have another litter of puppies. That litter of 7 puppies saved her life for a few more weeks.
When her time was up at the foster home, she and the 2 puppies left were set to go back to the high kill shelter where they would again, be on the euthanasia list. Peanut and her 2 puppies were rescued and came to Ohio to look for their forever homes. Peanut does not have to worry ever again about being back at that shelter and wondering if someone was going to step in and save her life. She is safe and has been given a second chance to find her forever home and the loving family that she deserves
Peanut is an amazing girl who loves nothing more than to be in a yard with several balls or to be snuggling up against her human. Again, she loves balls and can be outside all day long playing catch if given the opportunity. She is still very much a puppy herself in that she does love to play and be active. She does well with walks but can pull at times in the leash. She is crate and house trained and loves chewy toys and treats. Peanut would be an amazing addition to any family. She just wants to love and be loved.
