Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poppi is a 30-pound, seven-month-old, sweet, fun, and cuddly chocolate brindle and white terrier-mix puppy looking for a loving guardian.
She absolutely loves other dogs of all sizes. Poppi is currently living in a foster home with a 90-pound dog and a 10-pound dog. She gets along beautifully with them and all dogs she meets on walks.
She’s living with high school age kids, but appears to enjoy younger children too.
Found as an emaciated stray in Chicago’s Marquette Park, Poppi landed in the foster home of an animal lover who has been giving her the TLC she needs. She was found with no tags, collar, or microchip, and her humans never came to claim her.
Poppi is looking for someone to take her into their home and heart. She is smart, athletic and loving and would do great in a training class to help her bond and create a common language with her new family. She is good on leash, and great in the car.
Poppi is now extremely healthy, housebroken, crate-trained, spayed, and vaccinated for rabies and distemper, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative.
Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Poppi, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet her by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
