This love bug is Hank! ?? Once he feels comfortable around you, he is the sweetest boy you will ever meet! Hank will do anything to get some love and affection. He can be a little shy with both people and other dogs at first, but his true personality shines once he has warmed up. Hank came to us needing a little TLC, and he has come SO far. Proper vet care and lots of love go a long way! Hank is ready and waiting for the perfect family to welcome him into their home ?? Hank is a Terrier mix, weighs 68 pounds, and was born on 3/31/2021. Before adoption, he will be neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Hank must be an indoor dog, meaning he sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside. If you are interested in adopting Hank, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1983 by Dolores Caldwell, BAHS is a no-kill shelter caring for up to 400 dogs and cats annually. The shelter resides on 3.25 acres of park-like land and houses indoor/outdoor kennels, a cattery, nursery/medical recovery building, agility fields, and fenced-in play yards.
BAHS is powered by volunteers and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our volunteers ensure the dogs and cats get plenty of exercise, playtime, and unlimited cuddles, love, and affection.
