Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Duke is a COURTESY post for an independent dog owner in the Akron area. Tracking Lucky Dogs is posting Duke as a courtesy to help find the best home possible for a dog that needs to be rehomed. Please contact Nicole at 330-906-3488.
Duke is a friendly, lovable dog that is seeking a new home. He should live in a home without small children as his family previously had some domestic violence issues and he is left with anxiety with rambunctious, loud, and chaotic situations. Duke is a very sweet dog and seeks a home that can provide him with the love he deserves. He needs to be updated on his shots and requires neutering. He gets along with other dogs but he has never been exposed to a cat, so it’s unknown if he would live peacefully with a feline. Duke is potty and crate trained.
Please contact Nicole at 330-906-3488.

More about this rescue
Making a difference, one dog at a time. We rescue and find permanent loving homes for dogs of all breeds and sizes. While many of our dogs are rescued from euthanasia lists at local high kill shelters, we also rescue dogs from abusive situations and accept special-circumstance owner surrenders (e.g., death in the family, foreclosure, etc.).
Many of our dogs have been brought to us as a last resort. They were "the ones no one wanted." As we worked with them, the transformation was often amazing. Many of them even became ideal candidates for Therapy Dogs.
Our Rescue dogs live with us and our dogs, in our own homes, as part of the family and are crate trained at night.
While only recently established as an organization, over the past 10 years we have rescued and successfully placed more than 250 dogs. We also have 19+ years experience in dog training, including behavior modification.
Mission: To make a difference in the lives of dogs that have been abandoned or abused by their owners, and deemed unadoptable by shelters. To place them in permanent loving homes and to ensure they become happy, well-adjusted family members - by offering long term adoption support and additional training if needed. A home should be forever.
