Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bubs, a playful, friendly, and sweet dog who is always ready for a good time. He loves nothing more than to play fetch, chase his tail, or simply cuddle up for a good belly rub. His joyous spirit is infectious, and he has a knack for making everyone around him feel loved and cherished. Bubs is not just a pet, he's a companion, a friend, a confidante. He's eager to share his love and zest for life with a family that can provide him with the same. Adopting Bubs means gaining a loyal friend who will shower you with unconditional love and brighten up your everyday life.
Based on our observations, Bubs appears to be deaf. Deafness is typically diagnosed based on physical exam findings such as a lack of response to loud noises or other auditory stimuli. Deafness can have a variety of underlying causes, however most of the time the underlying cause cannot be identified.
Deaf animals should not be left unmonitored outside, as they are not able to hear potential dangers such as oncoming cars or respond to verbal calls from their owner. Deaf animals may be more prone to startling, so approaching them from an angle where they can see you before touching them is recommended, and some may be better suited to a home without young children for this reason. Extra time and patience may be needed when adjusting to new situations. Some deaf animals may be more vocal, since they may not be aware of their own volume. Deafness is generally not curable, but most deaf animals lead happy, full lives with their new families.
An ideal home: Recommend meeting children Strongly recommend meeting dogs
