Hi I’m June Bug! I’m a very sweet girl and I just love people! I do well with other dogs and I would be fine with kids. I’d be ok as the only pup or with doggy siblings. I’m just a little over 40 lbs and estimated to be about 6 yrs old. I’m house trained and seem to be fine with my kennel. If you have some extra love to give and would like a cuddle bug I’m your gal! More about this rescue

SDRD is a state licensed 501(c)3 non-profit no kill dog rescue and group foster home located in Topeka, KS.

It is our goal to network with other local rescues and shelters to save dogs that are at risk for being euthanized due to lack of space.

We are committed to educating the public on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, along with the dangers of purchasing a dog from a pet store or puppy mill.
