My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Orchid and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a two-year-old female husky who came to SB Humane and is ready for a new home!

I recently had four babies and spent most of my time playing with them and staying active. I may seem shy at first, but don't be fooled, I'm a bundle of love and joy once we become friends! Whether its a run around the park or a movie night, I would love to be in your company!

My ideal home would be one who has space and time for me! You would love to add me to your family if you are looking for an active dog to love!

Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
