SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Zoe is a lovely girl! Not only is she adorable, but she is super sweet and very playful. Zoe is a 1 year old angel that is likely a dachshund mix. Fully grown at just 12 pounds, she is a wonderful size for most homes and is a loving little lady who adores everyone that she meets. Coming to us from our favorite WV shelter, Zoe is already spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She's in great health and ready to find a family of her own. We are seeking a home with an active adopter who has the ability to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with this amazing girl! A home without larger pets and with a fenced, secure yard will give her the room to run and play securely.
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the Zoe along with our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet Zoe at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting her and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
