My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Juno has a sweet Disposition and just wants to be love on all the time. She has had a litter of puppies and is being rehomed along with her three puppies now. This is a courtesy listing for the owner of these dogs. Please apply if interested so we can put you in touch with the owner.

Dahlia is Juno's only daughter, 6mo old and a lovebug just like her mom. She can be a little shy at first and takes time to warm up to people. Her brothers Bubba and Chase are also posted as a courtesy on here and looking for new homes.

Go meet their pets

We have a weekly adoption fair at Petco in Danville, Va. where we bring some of our dogs and cats. Most are fostered in members' homes. If you see a dog on our web site, please call us and we will make an appointment for you to meet. We make every effort to match the dogs with their prospective homes. Go to http://spcaofpittsco.rescuegroups.org or spcaofpc.petfinder.com.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated volunteers formed in 2007 to increase adoptions and reduce the kill rate from our local pound. We foster, vet, transfer and love all the dogs that we rescue and make every possible effort to place them in forever loving homes. We also operate a food bank to help keep pets in their homes. We are totally dependent on volunteers and donations from animal lovers like ourselves. We are saving and placing 20-30 dogs a month who would have been euthanized. We need you-Please help us save precious lives.
