My name is Mally!

This dog belonged to my Dad who died in February of 2024. Dad was a 90 year old widower and because he was 90 all of his 3 remaining siblings are in their 70's and really do not have the lifestyle for an animal. This is a very sweet dog that he rescued 4-5 years ago. I believe the dog to be around 6 or 7 years old. He is very healthy and lives indoors. My father's caregiver is staying with the dog but soon I have to sell the house and that can't happen with the caregiver and dog there. There can be no estate sale until the dog is rehomed. Our local SPCA shelter is over crowded and nasty. I can't do that to this dog. Dad's last request was take care of his dog. The dog has not been around children or cats but has been with other dogs often and does well. He is a sweet, lovable fellow that will lay beside you all day and follow you around as a companion. To my knowledge this dog has no underlying or unknown illness. He has always been on hearworm/flea preventatives.
