My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, let me introduce myself, I am Ruby, a young calico mom of 3
incedible kittens. I also have a sister named Diamond who also had 3
kittens at the same time I did, so I became a mom and and an aunt all on
the same day. What a wonderful Mother's Day my sister and I will have
this year. Since I have such a large family I have a heart ful of love
and the courage of a warrior. I am looking for a furever home where I
can be me, lovable, cuddlie and eager to begin the next part of my life.
I am supper smart (you have to be with this many kittens around) curious
and brave. It would sure be nice if my sister and I could stay together
because we have been through so much together but if we each get furever
homes that will be so wonderful and we will still have our memories.
Come on by and meet our beautiful family.

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
