My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Astro is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She was abused and dumped at the Mojave Air and Space Port where she was found amongst the local airplanes. She was brought to the Bakersfield shelter where she was put on the euthanization list due to overcrowding. She has since been rescued and is being fostered in Tehachapi.

Astro is crate trained, potty trained with a perfect record of having no accidents, is healthy and up to date on shots. She currently weighs about 55 lbs and is about 1 year old. She absolutely loves playing fetch and running in the backyard with a toy in her mouth. Astro is a big cuddler if you let her, but listens very well when you tell her she is not allowed on the couch or bed. She knows a few commands including Sit, Lay Down, and Shake. She knows to wait for her food.

She can be a little nervous around other animals after being in the shelter and needs a calm introduction, but otherwise gets along great with other dogs and her foster sibling cats.
