Sweet, friendly 4 month old lab mix puppy.

Meet Taco, a 4 month old lab/sharpei mix with a sweet personality and fur like velvet! Taco was found with his 4 litter mates abandoned in the desert in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Some kind people saw the 8 week old puppies on the side of the road and rescued and fostered them. With love, great vet care and good food, Taco has grown int a very handsome, sweet and friendly young boy. He is healthy, fully vaccinated, sterilized and ready to find his forever family! Taco would do well in a home with a yard to play in and regular exercise. He's very playful and would do great with another dog to play with too.

We have an online application, we will review your application and have an interview with the potential adopter and them they meet the pups. When a match is made, they can adopt a wonderful pup.

More about this rescue

Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non-profit dog rescue in San Diego, CA founded by volunteers. Our goal is to "Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome" rescued dogs from San Diego and Baja California.

We love Baja and understand that it is a struggle for some of the people to provide a proper home and care for their dogs. We rescue dogs that are running through traffic, starving on the streets and have no one to care for them. Sadly, many are in poor condition and need medical care. We provide that care with the help of volunteers and veterinarians on both sides of the border. Our adoption fees are used to pay for the care of these pups.

Our dogs and puppies are kept in loving foster homes until they find their forever homes. If you see a dog/puppy you would like to meet, we will put you in touch with the foster family. We also do adoption events around San Diego, please check our website for upcoming events.

Our "Baja Blends" as we like to call them make wonderful pets and will shower you with love to show you how grateful they are to be in a loving home.
