My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Cain, who was rescued from the confines of Dallas Animal Control, Cain's journey to joy is a testament to resilience and compassion. Born around April 2023, this exuberant pup has recently celebrated his first birthday, marking a year filled with boundless energy and unwavering affection.

From the moment Cain was rescued, he radiated positivity and warmth, captivating the hearts of all who crossed his path. Despite his tumultuous start, Cain's infectious enthusiasm and playful demeanor quickly endeared him to everyone at the shelter. The dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure Cain found his forever home before time ran out, a testament to his irresistible charm.

With a zest for life and an insatiable appetite for fun, Cain is the epitome of joie de vivre. He thrives on interaction, reveling in games and social gatherings with boundless enthusiasm. Whether he's engaging in a spirited game of 'Find It' or partaking in the exhilarating rough-and-tumble of his beloved 'Rough & Rowdy' playgroup, Cain approaches every moment with unbridled joy and infectious energy.

Despite his larger stature, Cain's heart is even bigger, brimming with love and loyalty for his human companions. He's a firm believer in the power of connection, seeking solace in the comforting presence of those he holds dear. Cain's affable nature and tolerant disposition make him an ideal companion for individuals seeking a furry friend to share life's adventures.

With his unwavering devotion and innate charm, Cain has all the makings of a phenomenal service dog, eager to lend a paw and spread love wherever he goes. Whether he's leaning against his favorite person or showering them with affectionate licks, Cain's boundless affection knows no bounds.  He even has some cat friends.

Weighing in at a robust 57 pounds, Cain is a gentle giant with a heart of gold, ready to embark on the next chapter of his journey with a loving family by his side. If you're ready to welcome this charismatic canine into your life, don't hesitate to apply for Cain today at www.adoggie4you.org. Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested

All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella, heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.

Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
