What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Schatzi (German equivalent of "Sweetheart" or "Honey") lives upto her name. She's the sweetest pet I've ever had. She's registered, full blooded, chipped, and not fixed yet, in case you would like to breed her.
Schatzi knows basic pet commands like sit, lay, down, stay (sometimes she forgets this one :/ ). She also knows "Wait" = "wait until the food/water bowls are filled" She also knows "watch out". She works with me in the shop and in the forest. She's not afraid of tractor noise or chainsaws and when I say "watch out" she knows to move away or behind me where it's safe. She's a great companion!
My grandkids (ages 11 down to 3) just lover her. Even though the youngest ones literally see eye to eye with her, they play fine outside.
Schatzi has free range on about 10 of my 93 acres. When I'm with her, we go into the "deep woods" to work/play, unleashed.
Schatzi has 24/7 shelter (a dog house inside the shop), but prefers to sleep like a deer, outside on the leaves or even snow.
