My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thorn is a majestic 5-1/2 year old female Siberian Husky who was found on Heldman Road in the Wingett Run area of Washington County Ohio on May 1, 2024 and brought to the HSOV by a Good Samaritan that day. Thorn was wearing a collar but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog license tag on her collar. A microchip was detected but an owner has not been located. Thorn was accompanied by two younger female Siberian Husky companions (Dusk and Luna). Neither Dusk nor Luna were wearing a collar.

This gorgeous girl has a snow white medium-haired dense coat, a long fluffy tail, and a beautiful Husky face with dark brown eyes, a liver-colored nose, and short erect ears.

All three of these lovely Huskys have friendly, playful personalities. They adore attention and to be loved on .. And true to their noble breed, they have just the right amount of affectionate and mischievous behaviors (smile).

These photos of Thorn were taken on May 3, 2024 when HSOV Volunteers Emma Dahlgren and Tracy Lynn accompanied all three of the Husky girls for outdoor photos.

Thorn was a joy to photograph while Emma assisted her with glamour photos and lavished attention upon her (and vice versa).

Thorn weighs 51 lbs and walks fairly well on a leash.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Thorn Dusk and Luna were held for three days so that their family would have an opportunity to reclaim them with proof of ownership. Surprisingly nobody called or came looking for this awesome trio.
