This is Elliott, he was found roaming the streets when the local animal control picked him up. He sat at the shelter for almost a month when we acquired him. He was a very sweet boy and still is, the only issue is the cats. He has bad prey drive which came out only recently. And to make matters worse he has resource guarding with me. He does not like it when other animals or my husband are near me. Which has become a problem because we cannot continue separating him and our cats. And he HOWLS and BARKS anytime my husband tries to hug me. My husband has told me that whenever I leave and he knows I have left he will stand at the gate and howl, panting and pacing back and forth. Going from the gate that separates our kitchen from the dining room to the window that faces the front yard. He is really a great dog, but he has to go to someone with more experience with the breed, either no kids or older kids (preteen/teen) and absolutely no CATS.
