My name is Max!

I was on my front porch on a cold rainy day on the south side of San Antonio when all of a sudden two sick puppies ran to me. Max ran straight into my arms, while his brother was hesitant. He was the leader of the two; confident, playful, and the sweetest loving thing I've ever met. His brother was adopted but he ended up staying with me. He loves to play with our dog and our cat, and they all cuddle up and sleep together. His favorite place is the dog park, where he says hi to everyone he sees. His interests include: watching tv, especially westerns with lots of horses, playing with toys and his dog puzzle, giving hugs but he does not like going swimming. He is missing part of his tail and I'm informed he was abused and neglected prior to us letting him in, so he can be a little nervous at times. All he wants to do is love, and be loved. I want to make sure he does to a home that can love him as much as he deserves.
