Phinneas and Candace are an adorable brother/sister bonded pair of kittens ready to find their forever home! They love to snuggle together, and love to be near each other. They love to play with a mouse toy or a spring and purr the second you pet them! They will need some time and space to settle in to a new home, but once they are comfortable you will be so thankful you chose them! Being together during that transition period should really help them as well.

They have an estimated birthday of 11/27/2023. They joined Murci's Mission when they were surrendered because their previous owner had too many cats. It was thought that Phinneas had a cold, as he had been exhibiting signs of illness for quite some time in his previous home. When the vet examined him, she found a large nasalpharyngeal polyp in his nose! She was able to remove it and he could breathe comfortably after that!

They are excellent at using thei litterbox. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on vaccines. Their adoption fee is $100 for the pair. Thank you for considering them!

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
