Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE NOTE: This is a Courtesy Listing and you need to contact Chip’s foster mom. Her information is at the end of this bio. ARRF has no shelter – all of our animals ae in foster homes and fosters need to be contacted directly.
Meet Chip, an adorable 5-month-old Chihuahua mix who has a light brown coat. Rescued from an abusive home where he was neglected and spent most of his days in a crate, he is very shy and timid and will require an adopter with patience who is willing to work with him.
Once Chip is comfortable with you, he is a very happy little boy with a great personality. He’ll be about 15 lbs. when fully grown.
Because of his previous situation, Chip is afraid of a leash. He also needs to be housetrained and crate trained, so a home that has a yard where he can easily get outside will be best. He is great with other dogs and kids. A home with another dog will be fine as long as you have sufficient time to devote to Chip. He will need a lot of love, training, and reinforcement so that he knows he is finally in a safe place, but once he knows he is in a loving, secure situation, he will be a GREAT companion!
Chip is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 and includes a crate, crate pad, puppy pee pads, some starter puppy canned food, and a leash. He is truly a wonderful little boy who just wants to find his forever home where he can be loved and enjoy the life all dogs should lead.
