My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arriving to Pittsburgh soon! Coming from a shelter, my history is a bit of a mystery, but here's what my shelter friends said about me:

"Hank has so many scars on his face, I can't imagine what he's endured in his short 3 years, but I hope it only goes up from here. He was such a chill dude and just watched the world go by with me. He was barking intently to the male he came in with so I temp tested them just to make sure and of course they were old pals and did great together, even meeting a kid! I know his scars look terrible but he genuinely is so chill & great. He'd love to just be your chill partner in crime! He took treats sooo gently like he didn't want to bother me he even let me pick him up and didn't give a care in the world. He loved just sitting there getting pets, and it was a hot day so he just laid next to me relaxing. He didn't pull on leash and was just an overall chill guy."

More about this rescue

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
