My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Connor is a 2 year old male coming in at about 10 lbs.

He's a major cutie who'll look up at you with his big, green eyes until you finally give in and love on him. He loves scratches all around the head, wet food to snack on, and ball-shaped toys. He's not shy about letting you know when he's bored and will sing you a beautiful song to grab your attention. Being a young guy still, he's got pep in his step and plenty of energy to share with you. Once he's tuckered out, he's just as happy to snuggle up and relax by your side.

Connor did have some trouble fitting in at first, in both shelter and home. One second he'd be sweet, the next he'd be grumbling in your direction. With such a carefree personality we weren't convinced it was a matter of kitty teenagehood and there had to be something more. As it turns out, he's a special needs sweetheart! He has potential nerve damage to the spinal cord and is pretty sensitive about his back being touched. This is where that fussy side of him will come out - and we can't blame him! Our vets concluded that he'll have to be on nerve pain medication for the rest of his life and we're hoping to find someone willing to take on the task. It's a simple oral medication that he takes like a champ and will help him with immensely with his quality of life. He should be back to his normal silly self in no time and will surely be thanking you for taking a chance on him.

If you're interested in Connor, he'll come neutered, microchipped, with his Rabies and distemper vaccines, a heartworm test, and his flea and tick treatment for the month. Due to him lashing out with his painful discomfort, we're hoping to have him be the only child - No dogs, no cats, and no kids. Head on over to ForeverPaws.com and fill out an application if you'd like to adopt him, and if you're already approved with us don't hesitate to give us a call to set up an appointment to meet Connor today!
