Hi there, I'm Butters, a happy-go-lucky 2 year old boy looking for my forever family! My journey hasn't been the easiest—I started out as a stray, wandering the streets without a home. But thankfully, I was found and brought to this awesome rescue place!
When I first came, I wasn't in the best shape. I had some skin issues and was missing some fur, but the nice humans here have been taking good care of me. My skin is getting better, and my coat is growing back all nice and shiny!
Let me tell you a bit about myself...I'm a real charmer, if I do say so myself! I've got these big, bright eyes that can melt anyone's heart, and oh, don't forget about my little snaggletooth that gives me that extra touch of character. I love to play and goof around, and I get along great with other dog pals.
I'm hoping to find a family who's as active as I am. I've got plenty of energy to burn, so I'd thrive in a home where I can get lots of playtime and maybe even some training to keep me on my best behavior. I'm a quick learner, especially when treats are involved!!!
If you're looking for a buddy who's always up for fun and cuddles, I'm your guy. Inquire about me and let's see if we're a perfect match. I promise to bring so much joy and laughter to your home! Can't wait to meet you! Love, Butters

More about this rescue
Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
