I adopted Copper in June with my partner at the time when we were living in Reno. He is 3. I had some big life changes and had to move back home with my parents, he was more my partners dog but he got stuck with me in the split.I know live in a smaller home that isn’t spacious enough for a dog. I no longer have the space, time, or means to care to Copper like he should be cared for. He deserves the best and I unfortunately can no longer give that to him. I am looking to rehome him to someone who is willing to put in the time, effort, and training for Copper to be the best boy I know he can be. He takes two anxiety medications morning and night because he gets very overwhelmed and anxious. When he is overwhelmed, he gets scared and he thinks he has to protect himself, so he has nipped. He gives a lot of side eye when he is feeling uneasy and you can usually always tell when he would act out. He is a really great dog, he just needs to the time and patience to show you that.
