Meet Gruber - such a love bug. A little white doll with black markings who gets along with other pets and young children. Gruber is friendly, outgoing, gentle, affectionate, loves to sleep on beds, plays fetch and enjoys playing with toys -- like a dog in a cat's body. He craves attention and loves his food!
When Joliet Animal Control found him as a stray and his owner did not claim him back in February, they asked if we would intake him. We gladly took him in and he immediately adjusted and became besties with his foster family. He has not been exposed to dogs but has the personality to get along with them!
Gruber's date of birth is estimated at 1/18/2020; he is fully vetted and ready to go home with you and your family.

Once you have chosen a pet from online or visited at one of our adoption centers, you may decide to submit an application.

Interview
Your application will be acknowledged and a request made for a convenient time to set up a phone interview.

Home Check
We do not visit your home, but we do check vet and personal references.
4.
Approve Application
Once approved, you will meet with our adoption manager, sign your contract, pay your $175 donation fee, and pick up your new baby!

Adoption application is required. If approved for an adoption there is an adoption contract and a $175.00/$400.00 adoption fee. The $175.00 adoption fee for cats includes the spay/neuter, AKC micro-chipping, FIV/FeLV testing (Feline) or Heartworm testing (Canine), deworming, de-fleaing and vaccines.
