My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Zilla, once adored by his owner, now finds his future unsure. His owner passed away in April and the relative that’s been caring for him it too senior to continue in a permanent bases. His vet paper lists Belgian Malinois Mix and he weighs 70 lbs. He’s about 20 inches in height and approximately 6 years old.

Zilla has had two previous owners- both passed away. He's highly intelligent and loyal. He would bring his owner his shoes one at a time, remote, his leash when commanded. Just the other night he picked up paper plate for his elderly caretaker. He doesn't bother the trash can with food in it, and is just a well mannered fellow.

When his owners health allowed, he took Zilla on frequent outings to Tractor Supply, Walmart , Etc where he enjoyed meeting new people. He sometimes barks at other dogs so we aren’t sure how he would do in a multi dog household. He also tries to chase cats so we are seeking a feline free household.

Zilla his neutered, chipped, and his rabies vaccination is current. He is generally a mellow guy and is used to being indoors. he is a big snuggle bug and would enjoy long rainy Saturdays watching Netflix. Unfortunately, with his owners passing he has no where to go. All his surviving relatives have kitties and they are heartbroken not to have any good options available for Zilla.

we really hope the right family stumbles across Zillows face and falls in love.
