My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freckles is the man! He is so loving and playful. He will snuggle sometimes but won't be constantly glued to you if that's not your jam. He is incredibly affectionate and loyal and is the best dog I've ever seen interact with new people. I've introduced him to a handful of friends and he treats them the same way as he has treated me. He definitely is for a more social owner, when you're walking him, he will want to say hi to everyone! Most strangers love this, but it has sometimes been challenging to get him to learn his limits on the leash as he likes to pull when he sees something exciting or smelly. He is very high energy and likes to play tug of war with his toys. He is very smart/well-behaved and knows what he's allowed to chew on in the home and what he isn't. He still has never barked at anyone and is very docile in this way. He requires multiple walks a day to feel his happiest and definitely could benefit from a yard to stomp around in. To conclude, he's just amazing and is potty-trained too! I would snatch him up if I didn't live in an apartment, I'm sure you will love him just as much as I do :)

Every pet adopted through our careful matching service benefits from preliminary vaccinations and health care,
the relocation security of microchip identification. The adoption fee is $225-$600 for puppies and adult dog.

Thank you for your interest in saving the lives of these beautiful pets through our foster and adoption program.

To all the people that have called and emailed in hopes of meeting a puppy before our event, we hope you can understand, we cannot meet between events. We truly appreciate you wanting to help by adoption but ask that you make our events. We are a foster based rescue, and all of us have full-time jobs. We simply can't arrange one on one meetings with all of our foster families, our puppies and all the people that want to meet them.

Please do not call the locations of our adoption events as they do not have any information on our available dogs and puppies. We match the family energy level and lifestyle to the puppy's energy level. We do have the right of refusal. Please check out our website at www.rmpuppyrescue.org to download our Pre-adoption form and Requirements form, print, fill out and bring in hand to the event. You can also submit your application online at our website.

Here are some other things we require:

- If you rent, YOU MUST BRING A COPY OF YOUR RENTERS/MORTGAGE AGREEMENT TO THE EVENT. We do this to confirm you own your house or if you rent you are allowed to have a pet in your home. NO EXCEPTIONS.We would like to see if there is a weight or breed restriction. No rescues will be adopted to those persons who do not bring a lease or agreement to the event.

- You must show a valid drivers license, and You must be 19 years or older.

-You MAY NOT bring your dog to our event. This is due to the fact that our puppies have immature immune systems.

-Any animals you own MUST be Spayed or Neutered. NO exceptions.

- RMPR adoption fees are $225-600 this includes your microchip, starter puppy food and of course lots of puppy love!

RMPR Does not take checks. We accept, cash, Visa, MC, and Discover. NO AMEX (sorry)
