I got Pongo from a private owner at 10 weeks old. We lived in the mountains of Flagstaff, AZ or the first few months before coming to south Florida. He has adjusted well to being a beach dog and loves to be out in nature. He is very playful and engaging; loves playing tug of war, fetch and generally rough housing. He has a medium energy level. Always up for chasing a ball but he will never whine or act spastically just to get attention. He is incredibly perceptive and very responsive to commands; very eager to please. More recently he has become especially protective of me, his mom, and it has caused issues with family. More importantly, the behavioral issues we have encountered nearly disappear when I am not around. He does fine with the vet or the groomer as soon as I leave. Pongo is an incredible companion and I am heart broken to give him up.
