My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Currently in BEAVER FALLS, PA

Introducing Bella, a captivating 1.5-year-old Shepsky female with a spirit as enchanting as her namesake. Bella's journey to find a forever home is as touching as her personality is delightful. After following a family home from school, having been abandoned, this petite girl proved that sometimes, the greatest friendships are found in the most unexpected ways.

Bella may be small in stature, but she possesses a heart with the capacity to love that knows no bounds. Her demeanor is impeccable—clean and well-mannered, she moves with grace on a leash, showcasing her readiness to explore the world by your side. Bella thrives on human interaction, finding joy in the companionship of her two-legged friends, both young and old, as well as her four-legged peers.

Her affinity for children is evident in the gentle play and endless patience she exhibits, making her not just a pet but a true member of the family. Bella's love for life shines brightest in the great outdoors, where she indulges in the simple pleasures of running, sniffing, and playfully rolling around, her happiness infectious to all around her.

Bella is on a noble quest to find a family that will cherish her as much as she intends to cherish them. She offers a promise of unconditional love, shared adventures, and the unwavering loyalty that comes from a grateful heart. Her ideal forever home is one where she can continue to spread her joy, participate in daily family activities, and snuggle up after a day full of play.

If you're looking for a furry companion who will bring light and laughter into your life, look no further than Bella. Her story is a testament to the enduring spirit of dogs and their ability to overcome adversity with love. Welcome Bella into your home, and embark on a journey filled with affection, joy, and the kind of loyal companionship that only a dog like Bella can provide.

More about this rescue

Sonoma's Haven Inc. 501(c)3 organization was founded in June 2015 after seeing the shortage of fosters that are able to take in rescue dogs needing a safe place to stay until they are adopted. This is a crucial part of the process and Sonoma’s Haven is here to help the rescues. Without space for a dog to go they are unable to intake the dog. Sometimes the situation is urgent and they cannot wait for a foster to step up or the dog might need help medically and emotionally before its ready to be in a home setting. Our organization creates a safe atmosphere for dogs to begin the process of healing and learning the joys of life. We finished our new facility in Sealy, Tx in June 2018. We were able to include a lounge area in our building design which allows dogs to enjoy some of the things usually only dogs in a home environment experience. The lounge includes super comfy couches for them to hang out on and decompress and just get some one on one attention from staff and volunteers. All of our staff members have a passion for caring for these dogs that stay with us. We get to be a stepping stone for these dogs as they learn how to trust humans again and enjoy what it is supposed to be like for a dog. We have a large fenced area that they get to run and play in. Understanding that the dogs here are searching for that perfect foster/forever home we like to capture photos and videos of the dogs to assist the rescues in their efforts to network the dogs.
