Please meet Snickers, an almost 5-year old, black and white border collie/lab mix, weighing in at 42lbs.  This handsome boy is fully house-trained and fine in the home with free roam when you are out and about!  Snickers has grown-up with a cat and has also been exposed to many other dogs for short and long periods of time, having done well with all of them - Snickers loves to play!

Snickers has been exposed to children of all ages without issue, but tends to prefer older children (sudden movements and loud noises startle him a bit).

Snickers loves to go on walks and does well on a leash; he will pull occasionally when seeing another smaller animal of interest (such as a squirrel or a bunny), but is still controlable and can be easily redirected.  He is smart and eager to please, already knowing the basic commands of “sit” “down” and “paw.”

Overall, Snickers can be described as a friendly loving companion that likes to engage socially with both people and other household pets.  He is playful at appropriate times like when outdoors or when purposefully stimulated (play, walks, etc.), but can also be very relaxed within the home. Loud noises can make him nervous, but he will retreat as a defense mechanism under these circumstances and has never shown any unfavorable or challenging response when feeling anxious.
