My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lily! She is an adorable petite two-year-old Lab/Corgi mix girl who’ll steal your heart away. She and her sister were rescued from the San Bernardino shelter where they were left behind after their puppies were adopted. While there, the sisters were said to be good girls and were kenneled with different dogs. After over 2 months in the shelter, Lily is a little on the shy side. But with patience and space, she’ll be your bestie in no time. You can see how much she wants to get love!

She’s already getting more comfortable with her foster and coming out of her shell. What’s certain is once she knows she is safe, she’ll lay on her back for belly rubs and touches. You’ll find her cuddling up to you before you know it! She is just such a sweet, affectionate girl. Lily loves spending lots of time with her people. She also enjoys being outside to take walks, do zoomies on grass, and playing with her sister.

While she enjoys some activity, she’s also happy chilling out on a dog bed, snuggling with her sister, or laying right next to you. Lily is spayed and current on her shots. She does well on leash and is potty and crate trained. This sweet girl is growing more confident with each day, and she can’t wait to have her happy ending and forever family!

More about this rescue

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
