My name is Straka!

Meet smiling Straka! He's about 3 years old, and our staff describes him as affectionate, outgoing, curious and smart. You'll love his alert "radar ears" that won't miss anything going on. We also think he's dog-friendly, so bring your dog over for a meet-and-greet! Straka is a friend in need -- he was found running stray, and no one came to claim him. He's feeling stress from the shelter environment (jumping in his kennel), and it would really help him to find a home as soon as possible. He's heartworm-positive, but we will provide the treatment; you'd just need to keep him quiet for a few weeks until the heartworms are gone. He's medium-sized with a black coat, and he's neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. A friend in need is a friend indeed, and Straka wants to be your best friend for life.
