05/08/24 11:06 Took dog out for visit and he did really well. He allowed touch and was running around the room comfortable with us, but not very interested in toys. Once it was time to put him back inside his kennel, he tried to avoid going back in. I had to tug on the leash to bring him inside the kennel. Once I got him inside, I attempted to take off the leash and he bit me (it did not break skin, just bruised a little bit) He then continued to try and get out, so I used my foot to block his way, and he attempted to bite my shoe also. Use caution when putting dog back inside kennel. He really does not like being in a kennel.

Dogs and cats are available for adoption at the animal shelter for a nominal fee. Visit the shelter to fill out an Adoption Consultation Form at the shelter. An Animal Care Technician will review this form and evaluate the adoption from both yours and the pet’s perspective. If the pet's date of availability has past, the person with an approved application will be able to adopt. If there is more than one person interested and approved on the date and time the pet becomes available, a drawing will take place in order to be fair to all parties involved.
