My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm London! I arrived at the shelter alone and while my friends here at the SPCA have been giving me lots of love and attention, I am ready to go home and be a part of a family again! I can't remember what it was like living with other cats, but I think that I would do fine in a home with another social cat so long as they were patient with me, and we were introduced in an appropriate manner. I've been spending a lot of time with the wonderful volunteers here and they report that I am very sweet and have a quirky personality. I promise what they say about only children isn't true - I am really the sweetest and I don't mind sharing! If you think that you might be my fuuuurrrrever person, come by the shelter during Browsing Hours and meet me!

Additional adoption info

In response to COVID-19, and the current social distancing rules, all of our animals are now being housed in foster homes and our adoption procedures have changed. Please read the following ADOPTION STEPS on our website for further details!

**Please Note: Most of our adoptions are beginning with a foster-to-adopt period, and because of this, we are temporarily unable to consider applications from households outside the counties of: Santa Cruz, San Benito, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Monterey.

If you rent, please have a copy of your lease or a letter from your landlord that states you can have a pet(s) ready.

If you’re adopting a dog, introduce your future friend to any other dogs in the family (dog adoptions only).
