My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shmoo is a lovely six year-old cat who came to Safe Haven to find a new home when her person had to move and could not take Shmoo with her.  Shmoo is a lovely Manx cat with a gorgeous gray coat, with just a tiny bit of white on her chest, and a cute little puff of a tail.

She is a sweetheart who loves having visitors.  She especially loves it when her visitors pet her and pay lots of attention to her.  She rewards them with happy purrs and kneads her paws.  She is looking for an adult family.  She does NOT like dogs, children or other cats.

If you would like to meet Shmoo, just give us a call for an appointment to visit with her.  She's definitely worth getting to know!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Prospective adopters meet with our Shelter Manager to determine an appropriate match for our animals. The adopters sign an adoption contract that identifies the condition of the animal, approximate age, any health issues, and conditions of adoption (e.g. indoor only, no declawing, etc). Adoption fee is $150.00 for kittens, and $85.00 for young, adult and senior kitties.

PFOA prefers to adopt to homes on the North Olympic Peninsula, but we do make (lots of) exceptions. Please call (360) 452-0414 to learn more about this kitty. A staff member will return your call.

All PFOA animals are vet-checked, current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and combo tested for FIV / FeLV.
