My name is Maple!

Maple is a loving and caring dog who we adopted a year ago. She super snuggly and loves going on long hikes and playing with other dogs. She crashes hard after playing, and sleeps a good amount for a young dog. Happy to sleep in and isn't crazy to get out in the mornings.

We presume she was born around March '23, we picked her up in June '23. She came up from a shelter in Arkansas, we were her first home after the shelter.

She's great with our kids. She knows basic commands and is good off leash. She is very intelligent.

All this being said, she is very protective of our house and our family. She has shown aggression to visitors and new people trying to come over. She settles down after 5-10 min of them coming over, but she does display "threshold guarding". She's okay with strangers when out and about, its primarily just in our house. We have had some success with various trainers.
