My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7/16/10
This is Tilly. She is a 5 year old, spayed, female, Border Collie mix. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and currently on heart worm medicine. Tilly's story goes back 4 years when she was left tied to a pole outside a Michigan shelter. She was placed in what we thought was going to be her "forever" home not long after she was brought into foster care. Due to a divorce, Tilly came back into rescue foster care. Apparently, they also divorced Tilly. She was left on her own with nothing to do and her fur was totally neglected. She is a little overweight and is now missing some of her beautiful fur on her back legs due to matts. Her personality, however, is still as sweet as it was 4 years ago. All she wants is to be loved and paid attention to.

Tilly knows several commands. Sit, down, shake paw, wait, sit pretty to name a few. She is not just a pretty face. She is also very smart. Tilly loves to go for walks and trots along nicely on a leash. She is totally housebroke and crate trained. She enjoys running in the back yard and will grab a ball and return it to have it thrown again. She plays well with my three dogs and could care less about the cats in the house. Kids are her friends and her back end waggles endlessly until they come over to pet and play with her. Tilly thinks that car rides are awesome. She sticks her head out the window and lets the wind blow her beautiful fur.

Tilly has a very sweet and even temperament and is now patiently waiting for someone to take her into their home and love her "FOREVER".
