Nellie our Mini Schnauzer is looking for a second start at life
We have a courageous Mini Schnauzer who has endured the hardships of life in a puppy mill and is now seeking a loving and patient forever home. This little one has faced significant challenges and needs a special family willing to provide the care, attention, and patience required to help them heal and thrive.
About Nellie:
**Age: Guessed to be between 3-4 years old
**Weight: only 11 pounds
**Health: Spayed and blood work came back that she is a very healthy girl
**Temperament: Very shy/scared with people but comes out of her shell with other dogs, which is why we recommends another dog in the home. She is cat friendly and is pretty low energy right now but that may change based on how she opens up.
Ideal Home
- A calm and stable environment. Young kids running around the home will not be good for this sensitive pup
- Patience to help her adjust and overcome her past traumas of living in a cage her whole life. Moving very slow is a must, she needs time to trust humans and learn the world isn't as scary as she thinks it is. She is still working through potty training, some days are great and some days she still has accidents
If you have a heart full of love and the patience to help this brave Mini Schnauzer embark on a new, happier chapter of life, please apply for her. Let's give this deserving momma the loving home she has always dreamed of.
She comes with 2 free dog training sessions!

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).
We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
