This sweet pup came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services due to a fractured pelvis that needed care. Now recovered, Wishes is wishing for a fresh start and a new home!
Wishes is your typical happy-go-lucky puppy despite her rough start! She loves just about everything and is friendly to everyone she comes by. Wishes' favorite past-time activity is flopping on her back to give herself good scratches! She is obsessed with belly rubs and loves to be held like a baby!
It is important to note due to her coat type, Wishes will require continued scheduled grooming to maintain the condition of her fur and prevent harmful matting.
Due to her previous injury as well as her smaller size, Wishes will need a small-dog sibling or a dog similar in size to her (20 lbs or less). It is unknown how she does with cats but should be introduced to any animal in the home slowly and over time. Wishes would do best in a home with adult-only adopters or with dog-savvy children over the age of 10 at this time.
Wishes is currently in foster care. A meet and greet can be schedule once an application has been received, and approved. Please complete an onlline application located at animalfriendsrescue.org.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.
All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
