Burr was born in December of 2013 and we have had him since April of 2014 as a puppy.
He has had anxiety issues all of his life, especially with motorcycles, fireworks, thunderstorms, etc. In the past year had increased issues of urinating in the basement kennel. We feel bad that he should really be on a farm or outdoor environment with safe shelter available. Not a full time indoor house dog, but needs a safe haven when anxiety causing situations arise. Very sweet dog but has no quality life living in our basement. We both work outside the home and don’t have the time anymore due to changes in career obligations to give as much attention as we would like.
Struggle with the thought of having to put him down but hopefully could find a new better place for him to enjoy his last few years.
