Boris is an adult male cat, approximately four years old. He is completely sweet and friendly, loves people, and is very talkative. He has a sweet, high-pitched meow and he will let you know if he wants food or affection. He is a very large boy with medium to long fur.
One of his favorite hobbies is eating. He has never met a bowl of food he didn't like. He is ok with other cats as long as there is a proper introduction process.
We rescued Boris from the streets of Sunset Park, Brooklyn. He evidently had a very rough life before we found him..... dirty, wounded and had infected ears. However, he was completely friendly and so he must have been a pet at one time. He went through many vet appointments, surgery to repair a wound, a dental, and lots of ear cleanings. There was a gorgeous, fluffy, majestic cat under there! Boris went through a transformation and is now ready for his forever home.
His ears are permanently deformed from past chronic ear infections and will need to be cleaned occasionally. Other than that he is completely healthy and has no special needs.
Boris is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed and free of parasites, and negative for FIV/FELV. He has had the works including a dental.
Whoever brings this very special boy into their family will be very lucky. Adoption application and adoption fee will apply.

If your adoption application is determined to be a good fit, we will set up a meet-and-greet which will enable you to meet your potential cat! We have been doing these virtually on Zoom which has been working well. We are open to scheduling in-person visits as well before you make your decision to adopt!
