Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jenny from the block! She was surrendered to the shelter on 5/6 because she kept escaping the fence and taking off. Instead of working to fix the issue her family gave up on her. Her former family did say that Jenny is house-trained, and she's good with kids. Jenny is now hoping for a new home and a family who will stick with her and make sure she is physically and mentally stimulated so that she doesn't feel the need for solo adventures. German Short-Haired Pointers are sporting dogs and they need lots of regular exercise! If you're looking for an active and playful new BFF please come meet Jenny! The volunteers describe Jenny as smart; she knows sit and lay down. She is also strong on leash so she'll benefit from some consistent work on leash manners.
Jenny is 3 years old, and she weighs 34 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, spayed, tested negative for heartworms, and she has been microchipped. Jenny is waiting in run 16; her ID # is 657395.
Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
