My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

                                                                             KENNEL ID #01658

Ayesha was living in a local hoarding situation with her 9 pups. Also rescued was the pup's daddy Max, a Chihuahua Dachshund mix, who has already found his forever home. The dog's elderly owner was reluctantly moved into an assisted care facility. The adult grandchildren were tasked with emptying the home of mountains of debris. Ayesha was a great mom and was surprisingly a very clean dog and is 100% house-trained.

Ayesha is the definition of a Fox Terrier. They are quick to bark, quick to chase, lively,  bossy, feisty, scrappy, clever, independent, stubborn, persistent, impulsive and  physically protective/suspicious of visitors . F ox Terriers were used to eliminate rodents, flush out foxes underground and for watch dog purposes. This breed  is inclined to attack first, ask questions later. They  are more likely than any other breed to growl or snap if challenged by a visitor human or canine. Ayesha has some stranger danger, so it takes her a little while to warm up to new people but once she does, she is a very loving and obedient, fun dog. You must have absolute consistency, that you mean what you say with her and not put her in situations where she feels challenged with visitors. She has a special passion for ball/toy chasing. Once she tires herself out, she will want to sit and relax on your lap. Ayesha adores the staff and their children at Diane's. She gets along great with most dogs after a careful introduction. She has a high prey drive and has extremely quick reflexes, so little creatures that run won't get far. She is highly intelligent and will do whatever it takes to keep her home and her people safe from intruders.
