My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Blue is a 3-month-old female Malinois Husky mix (best guess) who was surrendered to us by an individual who realized they were not ready for a puppy and wanted to make sure she went to a good home. She will need a breed savvy home willing to dedicate time to raising a puppy. If you're looking for a sport dog look no further -- she has a fabulous temperament and has a great foundation thanks to her amazing foster mom and trainer.

Foster Update: Blue is the perfect balance of smart, spunky, and sweet. Her eyes are stunning and her personality matches. She is family loyal and wants to stick near her people. She is confident and neutral in her environment, with new people, and around dogs. Blue is an active puppy (and breed) that would do best with lots of mental stimulation, exercise, structure, and adventures. She loves tug and loves to train. But she is able to relax, cuddle, and lay low as well. We are working on her crate training and potty training (she’s is just a little baby) so her forever home will have to keep up with that, but she is a fast learner! This little girl is a truly cool dog! We are only considering single family homes with a securely fenced yard, large breed experience, Shepherd/Husky experience a plus.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
