My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Percy is a 3 in a half year old male. He is neutered. Has his vaccines. Family was told by vet that he was a pitbull/saint mix. Percy needs a new loving home due to circumstances that have nothing to do with him. A major family change and Percy cannot come with the family.
Percy does well with older kids. Loves adults and attention.
FROM PERCY'S MOM - He does well with other dogs but, can be to energetic and on their personal space. He is crate trained and house trained. Is territorial when food is around. Percy has never really around cats. He enjoys being outside and running around. He loves to try and chase birds. Percy enjoys car rides. He loves to sit in the back with the windows down. He enjoys going for walks. He has been trained to walk on a leash but, could use some more training. Percy knows how to sit, shake, high-five, and lay-down. He is skittish with strangers until he can sniff you. He has been through a lot of changes with my daughters and I.
We had to downsize from a house to an apartment then back to a rental home. He has been stressed and had a lot of changes the past year and a half. Just like humans get stressed with environment changes, so can animals. He’s very loving and needs someone who can give him that affection and attention he needs.
He is a great dog and has potential to be an even better dog. If he can keep training that way he doesn’t get bored. He enjoys stuffed animal toys and has a weird fetish with shoes. He house with them on. So we don’t wear shoes in the house. He hates baths and can be stubborn and may have to be carried into the tub.
